 BIOGRAPHY             BORN TO PERFORM

Yvonne, originally from Long Island, New York, is now happily settled in Florida. Known as EV Sweet, she has been captivating audiences with her singing and dancing since she was just five years old. In the 1980s, she formed her own original & Roll band named "EV Sweet," a moniker given to her by a bandmate due to her sweet disposition and angelic voice. Her band performed at notable such as "The Bitter End" and "Kenny's Castaways" in NYC, as well as "My Father's Place" (where she opened for Ginger Baker) and "Northstage Theatre" (opening for "The New Mama's & Papa's") in Glen Cove, NY. Yvonne has showcased talents in local cable commercials, radio jingles, and has contributed numerous artists' albums, in addition leading orchestras at prestigious venues throughout NYC.

In 1985-1986, Yvonne was a background singer for Brian Setzer's band "Radiation Ranch" who performed several tracks on his album "The Knife Feels Like Justice, appeared on the MTV video of the same name and had the honors of performing with many other celebrities at the very first "Farm Aid" concert, September 22, 1985 in Champagne, Illinois, organized by Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp and Neil Young to raise funds to keep farm families on their land.

In 2004, Yvonne composed, co-produced and sang on her childrens CD entitled  EV Sweet's "Daytime Nighttime Anytime". This dual CD is over 50 tracks which include learning and activity songs, lullabyes, nursery rhymes and recited stories; plus bonus tracks of each song done instrumentally so parents and children can sing along and put on their own superstar performance.

Yvonne continues to sing at restaurants, private parties, assistant living facilities and also hosts karaoke. Her signature style is instantly recognizable and is becoming a sound that others like to emulate.
